Leadering: Leadership as an action, not a status. A role, not a position.
We lecture, train and mentor aspiring, emerging and experienced leaders at all levels to elevate their Leadering skills
Our unique approach
We have a background in strategy, transformation, and operational leadership. This, coupled with a slightly unhealthy interest in business models, has allowed us to create our unique key leadering frameworks and methodologies that are simple to learn and use in your and your teams’ leadership journeys.
Our approach is tailored to your requirements - we can guest lecture for your MBA students on Transformation programme management, run leadership sessions for your emerging leaders, facilitate strategic workshops for your leadership teams, and provide objective-friend mentoring. Or a bespoke mix of any of these subjects and audiences.
Leadering: Successful transformation programmes
This one‑day facilitated workshop is designed for leaders, programme managers, consultants, and masters students who want to grow their expertise in delivering complex organisational transformation. The session moves beyond theory, focusing on the practical realities of leading change in environments characterised by uncertainty, competing priorities and real‑time complexity.
Alternatively, the PURGO IDX© framework can be introduced in a 50 minute talk or lecture - giving participants an appreciation of transformation programme management.
-
The PurGo IDX© framework guides participants through:
Purpose – setting a clear and compelling “What by How” to anchor the change
Governance – establishing effective oversight, decision‑making and accountability
Identify – understanding current state, future outcomes and constraints
Design – translating ambition into deliverable programmes and projects
Execute… then Exit – delivering change, embedding outcomes and ensuring business readiness
-
The day is structured around an immersive case study and is highly interactive. Participants work through each stage of the PurGo IDX© framework, applying tools, frameworks and structured thinking to a realistic transformation scenario. The session reflects how transformation actually happens — iterative, people‑centred and influenced by governance, stakeholder dynamics and organisational context.
Throughout the session, participants explore the leadership capabilities required to succeed in transformation, alongside practical change‑management approaches including ADKAR, the Kübler‑Ross Change Curve and VUCA, always grounded in programme delivery rather than abstract theory.
-
By the end of the day participants leave with a practical, adaptable framework they can apply immediately, greater confidence in leading transformational change, and a clear understanding of how to move from strategic intent to sustained organisational outcomes.
Leadering: Successful organisations and teams
This one‑day facilitated leadership development session is designed for aspiring and experienced leaders who want to strengthen their leadership practice in a practical, reflective and people‑centred way. The programme moves beyond abstract leadership theory, focusing instead on how leadership is experienced day‑to‑day by individuals and teams, and how leaders can consciously adapt their style to create clarity, engagement and sustainable-high performance.
Alternatively, the PRIMER© framework can be introduced in a 50 minute talk or lecture - giving participants an appreciation of transformation programme management.
-
PRIMER© Framework provides a strong and adaptable foundation for leadership, encouraging a style that is both visionary and collaborative. The model focuses on six interconnected elements: Purpose, Responsibility, Interactions, Mastery, Empowerment and Recognition. Together, these create the conditions for clarity, psychological safety, accountability and motivation within teams.
-
The programme is highly interactive and reflective. Participants explore different leadership styles, including visionary, servant, transformational, command‑and‑control approaches, before examining how and when these might be effective. Through a realistic case study and facilitated activities, participants apply each element of the PRIMER Framework©, developing practical outputs such as clear purpose statements and aligned leadership responsibilities. The session also addresses the reality that leadership is situational, introducing participant‑focused thinking around follower style, readiness and adapting leadership behaviour accordingly.
Throughout the day, theory is deliberately grounded in lived experience, storytelling and practical tools that leaders can apply immediately in their own contexts. The tone is creative and supportive, acknowledging both the privilege and the complexity of leadership.
-
By the end of the session participants leave with a clear and structured leadership framework, deeper self‑awareness of their own leadership style, and increased confidence to lead people compassionately and effectively in complex organisational environments.
Leadering: Successful strategy development and deployment
A series of workshops to develop strategy - from scenario planning in complexity and uncertainty, gaining clarity on strategic vision, through to translating desired future outcomes into objectives and deliverable actions.
Depending on the situation, this topic could be delivered as either a one-day session or as a collection of sessions that enable strategic design at greater depth.
